Since you've taken the time to visit my little corner of cyberspace, let me take a moment to show you around and tell you a little bit about myself.

First off, my name is, yes, you guessed it, Jeff.  And this website is, as George Carlin put it, "A Place for My Stuff". It's a place for me to express myself through my photography, and my writing.

I live in New Jersey with my wife and two kids.   My interests include photography, reading, food (cooking), food (eating), hiking, geocaching, writing and computers.

I look at this site as a canvas on which I can display my photographs as well as a forum on which I can discuss topics which interest me.   Speaking my mind here serve several purposes. First, I hope to share my views with others. Secondly, it will improve my writing skills.  Third, venting here is a lot cheaper than therapy.

Some of my views may be controversial.   You will find that, from time to time, I will offend everyone.   Some people will be offended more than others.   I am not trying to belittle anyone or put down any particular group or organization (okay maybe a couple), but still my main purpose is to share my feelings and opinions and elicit comments. If you agree with something I say, I look forward to hearing from you.   If you disagree with something I say, I encourage you to contact me as well.   The only requirement I have is, if you disagree with me, tell me why. Don't just e-mail me and say "you're an idiot".   Enough people tell me that already.   Tell me why you disagree. You might even change my mind.

People often ask what my political affiliation is.   The honest answer is, I don't have one.   My views depend heavily on the issue. I think I am more liberal than conservative.   Yet, there are some issues for which my views are clearly to the right of center.

I don't believe in political correctness.   I say things that are unpopular. I say what's on my mind. If you think that might offend you, I would suggest going to a different website.   If you find that attitude refreshing however, you've come to the right place.   For example, I have very strong feelings about religion.   Religion has done more to set back the course of science than anything else in history.   As I said, not everything you read here will be politically correct.

I am limited in the use of my hands due to a repetitive strain injury (RSI).   I have devoted a blog to this topic.   In it, I will talk about products that I find helpful and those that I don't find helpful. I will discuss tips and tricks that I found, as well as resources such as books, etc.

One final note.   Since I have to use voice recognition software to "type" all the text on his website, please keep that in mind if I ever goof and a word doesn't make sense.   Sometimes, the software misunderstands me, and I miss it. I try to proofread, but every once in awhile one gets by me.

So, that's really all I have to say about myself.   Take a look around and let me know what you think.
